Service Description
Take your Spanish beyond knowing the rules—learn to use grammar naturally and confidently in real conversations. Nova B1 – Spanish Grammar in Action is designed for adult learners who already have a foundation in Spanish and want to strengthen their grammar, improve their accuracy, and become more confident expressing complex ideas. This course combines clear, practical grammar instruction with guided speaking practice. Instead of studying grammar in isolation, students immediately use what they learn to communicate, express opinions, describe experiences, discuss ideas, and respond to real-life situations. What students will review or and strengthen: • Preterite (pretérito indefinido) and imperfect • Present continuous and preterite perfect • Indicative and subjunctive moods • Active and passive voice • Imperative forms and commands • Verb conjugations and sentence structure • Adverbs and accurate word choice • Connectors and expressions such as sin embargo, aunque, por lo tanto, de lo contrario, and others used to connect and develop ideas • Vocabulary and expressions appropriate for C1-level communication How we put grammar into practice: Every class connects grammar with communication. Students practice using new structures through questions, guided discussions, opinions, personal experiences, problem-solving, and conversations related to an engaging topic. The group will select a current or meaningful topic of interest and progressively build the language needed to discuss it. Students will learn not only how to form sentences correctly, but how to use grammar naturally while communicating their ideas. The final goal: By the final class, students will bring together the grammar, vocabulary, connectors, and communication skills developed throughout the course in an extended conversation about the group’s chosen topic, with opportunities to interact with native Spanish speakers. The goal is not to make grammar tedious—it is to make grammar useful. Students finish the course with a stronger understanding of Spanish grammar, greater accuracy when speaking, and the confidence to use what they have learned in meaningful conversations.
